Bab - Manchester

Food, specifically humous had excessive amounts of garlic. Ruining the taste of all other food after as we couldn't escape the taste of garlic. Main kebab was not worth the price paid.

Food is amazing, brilliant service. One of my favourites.

We had a good time here on a reasonably busy Friday night, booked well over a week in advance. Arrived 15 minutes early so our table wasn 't ready (understandably) so we had a walk around outside for a while as the place is pretty tight so there is no waiting area. The food was good quality, tasty and well presented. Portion size was okay, but don 't go there expecting massive high street kebab portions as the quality of food is different and so comes in smaller quantities. Definitely a quality over quantity kind of portion. Had a couple of cocktails, Zombies, which were lovely. The only downside to our visit is that we waited a good 40 minutes for our two mains and a side. Even on a busy Friday night I 'd have thought that was a bit much, considering the portion sizes and ingredients involved in the dishes. We could hear other tables ' food being delivered alongside apologies for the delay. The staff were friendly and attentive and helpful with the menus, even suggesting drinks not on the menu.

Modern, clean with a nice atmosphere and good food at great prices. Particularly recommend the lunch deal!

We’re short staffed. The mezze starters were good. Mains were disappointing. Really slow service, we felt sorry for the young chef who did well considering he was on his own. Food quality not great.
