However, the food was delicious, and portions were generous. The manager's lack of customer service skills and public abuse on Facebook are concerning. On a positive note, the window seats are perfect for people-watching and the 47% discount makes the prices reasonable. Participants in the three-course prosecco deal praised the excellent food and attentive service. The a la carte menu may be pricey, but the discount entices repeat visits. Overall, it's a good spot for lunch with friends or a value-for-money meal.
The food at this restaurant is amazing! The homemade desserts are absolutely delicious and worth trying. I will definitely be coming back. I encourage others to dine here and support our local family-owned restaurants in the city center. This is a fantastic little spot.
Been 3 times previous and always enjoyed it especially this time we visited as we went on a deal! 47% off our bill made our evening extra special. Service was good, staff very attentive, food good and so central for an evening out in the city.
I went to this restaurant for lunch for the second time and tried different dishes than my previous visit. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient. There was a large group there for a baby shower, but the baby was well-behaved. It's definitely worth visiting while they have a 47% discount on the a la carte menu, as it's good value. I wouldn't feel it's worth the full price as the portions are small and you have to pay extra for vegetables, but other than that, I have no complaints.
We have noticed this restaurant many times while on our way to more exciting places. It's a unique establishment that seems to focus on serving morning and afternoon teas. The window seats are great for people-watching and observing the passing cars. With a 47% discount on the food, the prices were reasonable, but the quality of the food surpassed our expectations and was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent overall, although there was one issue with a cocktail served in a cracked glass, which the staff was aware of. Despite this, we still enjoyed our experience and will definitely be returning in the future. All plates were left clean, a sign of our satisfaction with the meal.
Evening from hell with follow up Facebook abuse.. Me and a friend booked this restaurant for a hen do. When we arrived we waited for a while before being shown to our tables the restaurant somehow thought it acceptable to put of us on one table and on another, which was never outlined to us before our arrival they said there was nothing they could do as it just wasn't possible to sit on the same table despite the fact the manager (Barry) had told us when we first enquired they could seat on one large table. These tables weren't close enough whereby one table could interact with another and left the bride to be having to spend time going from table to table which was really not ideal. Had we been told that we couldn't all sit on the same table initially we never would have chosen this restaurant. I should also mention that not once did the manager apologise for this massive inconvenience but quite the opposite, he very rudely told us we had never specified we wanted to be seated together which I found absolutely ridiculous. As if that wasn't bad enough the restaurant brought out starters for girls who hadn't arrived yet which were left to go cold and they refused to heat them up once they did arrive, poor service for a restaurant I expected so much more from. Also watch out for the sneaky supplement they add onto your bill without explanation, with being a large group we had to give the restaurant our food orders early and at no point between our initial booking enquiry to actually sending them our food orders was any mention made of a supplement for any courses. After a heated discussion between the manager and ourselves he eventually reluctantly took this off our bill. All in all a very nice meal absolutely ruined due to the shockingly bad customer service, I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. What I would recommend is a people skills training course for the manager who I found to be very rude and arrogant towards not only his customers but also towards his team of hard working but very unorganised staff. The manager of this restaurant seems to think it ok to publicly abuse his customers on a public forum, check out responses to Facebook reviews and how he treats paying customers before deciding to set foot in this place. I should mention we were never told about the no confetti policy' either in our correspondence or upon arrival.
