The food was amazing! This seems to be a family owned restaurant, which is great but there are only about two waiters. We were first seated at a booth but the seats were ripped and unusually squishy, so we moved to a high top. Which was much better. What Kathy H doesn't like about Firefly:
Expensive for what you get. $21 for fish chips $15 for sandwich fries. Expected a lot more in quantity;however, it was tasty. Service was adequate. Atmosphere was loud as there is no division between bar tables. Not a family restaurant. Flowers outside were beautiful. View all feedback.
It was a little warm but very good meal we enjoyed our dinner very much
I’ve been there twice now once for dinner, and once for lunch. For dinner I had the pasta carbonara with blackened chicken. For lunch I tried the poutine. Both times, the food was okay the pasta was flavorful enough but the bread seemed off and there was a green spot underneath. Since it was resting on the pasta, I wasn’t sure if maybe it was because it had been resting on a pea (peas are in the pasta carbonara) or possible mold (it was hard to tell because the lighting was so dim). Either way I didn’t eat much if the bread. The pasta portion was decent. The poutine was okay but the poutine itself was really just a bunch of melted cheese on top of the fries with the gravy added and not the traditional poutine with the curds. The staff has been very courteous to me, but when I went for dinner they seemed shortstaffed.
Highly recommend this restaurant. The food was great, and our bartender was really friendly. Best place we been to so far in ludlow.
Food is delicious, service was great! Bar itself needs a bit of
The food was amazing! This seems to be a family owned restaurant, which is great but there are only about two waiters. We were first seated at a booth but the seats were ripped and unusually squishy, so we moved to a high top. Which was much better. The Shirley temple was yummy and so were the steamed muscles and burger. The food took a long time to come, but it was definitely worth the wait! Since there were only two or really one waiter you didn’t get checked on much but it was fine. The real only flaw is the low amount of waiters and the long wait for the food. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant especially for families! And my family and I would probably come again.
