Contribute FeedbackThis restaurant is a hidden gem with a cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff. The sandwiches on the menu are a must-try. While the pricing may be a bit higher than expected, the food is excellent and the service is top-notch. Some guests had issues with reservations through Open Table, but overall the dining experience was wonderful. The Chicken Francaise and Pinot Noir were highly recommended, and the steak dinner was fabulous. The staff was outstanding, the ambience outstanding, and the food great. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closing soon after 85 years in business, and will be missed by many. There were some minor complaints about the dark lighting and noise level, but with a varied and delicious menu, large wine selection, and professional staff, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

This place a hole in the wall with good vegetarians. The ambience is not great but the food is good and the people who run the place are very welcoming. The best thing on the menu is the sandwiches.
We were late for our reservations, but Chuck kindly held the table for us. Caesar salad on the table was amazing. Our mains waited a bit, but before we could complain, our server apologized and they showed up shortly afterwards. Great food and portions well suited. Our steaks were done perfectly! Due to the small delay in our network, the manager sent a sinful sundae that we devoured even though we were way too full. Excellent service and kudos to the management for keeping an overview.
