The Village was once my second home. The owners were very close friends of mine. I have known the Stein family since before they moved to Manchester from Howell, Michigan. What William D doesn't like about The Village Tap:
Should be 5 stars. Just needs a new worker. I had to cancel my card, because Emily the bartender took it outside to pair with her cigarette. Also coming into a bar, I shouldn't have to hear bad talk about my family @Emily View all feedback.
Delightful service and a friendly, Hometown atmosphere make this a place to stop more than once.
The tap is great. My boys love it. The food is good. The atmosphere is friendly. Do yourself a favor and be a regular.
Small place. Cheap beer. Staff is nice. This is the quintessential small town bar.
The Village was once my second home. The owners were very close friends of mine. I have known the Stein family since before they moved to Manchester from Howell, Michigan. The food at The Taps is still excellent, particularly the burgers which I often order. However, there is one thing I don't like - my best friend Chris. All the photos of him have been taken down from the walls and it just feels like everything has changed. If Chris were still alive, I would probably be at the restaurant every day. Sadly, I no longer frequent the place as much as before. It's hard not to feel emotional when I see his photo missing. Things are always changing and it's a constant reminder of how much I miss him.
Small and secret. I love this place. Amazing eating and amazing workers/people
