Great food and service! Not much of a view at the window. Comfortable seats. I had the Devil egg toast for an appetizer, Citrus salmon with grilled vegetables for dinner and Mason jar cake, chocolate, for dessert. I had leftovers, of course, and my meal was neatly packed and I was given utensils. I recommend a visit. View all feedback.
What FrequentFlier657109 doesn't like about The Pavilion At The Hilton Garden Inn:
Room and facilities were ok in principle, if somewhat dated, but the shower was not working properly, the coffee machine was broken, and the food in both restaurants was incredibly poor and overpriced. View all feedback.
I loved the Pavillion. Great location at the backfield of the minor league. A woman did get hit in the head with a baseball while dining.
Very nice stay. Up to date place with great food, friendly staff and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Added bonus of baseball park outside the back lobby! Close yo everything with a nice view of the city. Very welcoming landscaping and amenities
Unfortunately, Sheila, the front desk attendant, was rude and dismissive throughout the conversation, continuously interrupting us with the fact that he wasn’t 21. Even after we mentioned that other Hilton properties had allowed him to check in without us being physically present, she insisted it was against policy. At this point, he was 2.5 hours away from his college, across the country from us, and all he needed was a place to sleep. The complete lack of empathy from Sheila was incredibly disappointing. We then called the main Hilton customer service line and were assisted by a wonderful representative named James, who helped us locate a Tru hotel (also part of the Hilton brand) that allowed him to check in based solely on our verbal confirmation. The front desk staff at the Tru were equally kind and accommodating, ensuring our son had a place to stay for the night. We hope that this experience leads to improved customer service training. While policies are important, this situation, especially given that we are lifetime Diamond members, was low-risk and could have been handled with greater compassion. If the answer had to be no, it would have been helpful if Sheila had at least directed us to the Tru hotel.
I absolutely adore this hotel for many reasons, but I have to highlight Katelyn at the Front Desk. She is incredibly welcoming, genuine, and has a fantastic sense of humor. She makes you feel like you've made a new friend. Thank you, Katelyn, for brightening our stay!
This is a lovely restaurant that I've visited several times. On this occasion, Katelyn and Penny at the front desk truly enhanced our experience. They were both friendly and professional. Although we were disappointed that the hot tub was not functioning, we still enjoyed the other amenities the hotel offered.
