La Carreta Mexican - Manchester

This us our go to restaurant when visiting. Service was great and the food was so good. Our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Our dinner was so good and the portion sizes are spot on. The margaritas are a must of you are looking for a cocktail.

My god, it's been a decade since we've been here and it is just as good as we remember. Rice and beans (like good bread at an Italian joint are top notch. This means you can expect everything else to be good too. Salsa, cheese dip, chips. Quessidilla, rice, fajitas, carnitas, and yes, my daughter (the philistine ordered a hot dog. Rice is especially good. Everything else gooder still. Thank you for being you, La Carreta (but don't visit their Portsmouth location... Price was great too!

Very busy on Saturday nights. I was on a list for over a half hour. Text was sent to me when my table was ready. Friendly service. Tables have plexiglass installed between them. Menus are available online. I had a coupon from the Hippo newspaper. I ordered Alitas, fried chicken wings, for an appetizer. My sinuses paid for it. I had Ranchero Chef?s Special, steak

I recommend the Molcajete! My significant other and I shared this dish (as yes it's pricey but it feeds 2 easily) and we both agreed it's hand-down the best dish we have ever had while eating out. We are actually taking another trip to the area soon and we have this place on our itinerary because we enjoyed it that much. The place was packed when we went so clearly others know how awesome it is. Regardless of that, the service was still quick and attentive.

I had lunch with my wife and was stated right away at 1pm. Service was very good and the food was excellent. I had the burrito grande. This is A really nice place. The ambiance and music put me in A really good mood. This wasn't my first time here, but it reminded me that I need to come here more often.
