Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Food and service in the restaurant are great, but the pick-up service leaves much to be desired. I travel a lot and sometimes order food from the restaurant in Manchester on my way home. I have learned the hard way I have to check the order that I have ordered against what I have actually ordered. There's always something missing. Today I ordered dinner for my wife and me. While I checked the order, I found that both dinners were missing the engraving we had ordered. The interesting thing is that I checked the document with the order and the engraving was clearly listed. I can only assume that no one had the trouble to check to ensure that my order was met before it was brought out to me. I do not remember the last time I ordered food for picking up in this restaurant and found that the order was correct. I have to ask myself how often other customers pick up orders are correct.

This had to be the most bland food we have come across in awhile. This place used to be good it has went down hill substantially. The greeter wasn’t Welcoming or personable by any means. It's what the Essence of Cracker Barrel is known for, Family gathering. While I'm not a fan of their current Chicken fry steak, everything else is just as good as real home cooking. Fried pork chop night.... well, get there early.
