I had high hopes when I entered the restaurant, but unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. I was not greeted promptly and had trouble finding a clean table to sit at. When I finally got seated, I ordered the brisket with two sides. However, the portions were disappointing - only 4-5 pieces of meat, five fries, and a small cup of mac and cheese. The service is absolutely amazing! coleslaw about perfection. I am very picky about my bbq and coleslaw. they even replaced the bungalow for me. they get 6 ounces of meat on the sandwich. many seats, friendly atmosphere. one of the most important handicap accessible. family business! let's have the word.
I tried Hog Shack and was not disappointed. My daughter loved her pulled pork slider kids meal and thought the mac n cheese was totally amazing I tried the Fat Kid signature sandwich. The pickles and avocado mixed well with the brisket but I would have preferred a softer bread. The dirt dessert hit the spot to top it all off. Would definitely return.

We got there pretty close to closing on a Sunday night with a pretty big order. They had no problem accommodating us. Purchased both types of brisket, burnt tips and several sides. Absolutely the best we have ever had! The meats were lean and tender and the sides were delicious! The collard greens are so tender and flavorful. The mac n cheese is creamy and very cheesy and the potato salad is so yummy! I can't wait to go back to try the ribs! This place knows what they are doing.
First visit and they nailed it! The menus, especially the sauce menu, were very new person friendly so it wasn't intimidating. Big portion sizes (to go along with slightly bigger prices) but the quality and atmosphere (clean and neat) were top notch! Can't wait to come back and try other menu items.
