One of the best restaurants in Bahrain. Best rajesthani food. Great ambience. Good service. Diplomatic City. Windstorm. As a rule, parking is easily available. A Thiali, which I am generally sufficient for 2 people. Because the Thali is limited, it's okay to share. Will certainly visit again. The service is a little slow when it is overcrowded. Went with great expectations on Eid Al Adha...it was my daughter s first eid,my husband had reserved a table at this particular place after seeing their special advertisement on Facebook..we reached on time to an empty restaurant, greeted by a single waiter.following us another family of 7 reached..taking all our orders, later we could see the owner of the restaurant walking in with the food to prepare we had to wait... Location: easy to access and it is in diplomatic area in Manama . Costs: quite affordable with good taste. Quantity: value for the price we paid. Taste: I would have 3 out of 5 had roti, panner tikka, chicken, veg rice rice was not good and vegetables half baked. Service : Good I would give 4 out of 5 for the dishes we had. I would recommend eating here .. check my photos
On a Friday, we were the only group to reach the hotel around 12.30 noon. The place was deserted. Soon 2 more groups joined in. Orders were placed. Problem 1 : only 1 waiter for the entire floor, who was completely confused what is happening around him and who has asked for what . Problem 2 : after a wait of more than 45 minutes the ‘Thali’ was brought in. All food appeared to be pre made and kept. Nothing was freshly made. When asked why is the ‘Bati’ from dal bati so hard, the manager answered it was made at 8 o’clock in the morning so must have become hard. I told him I didn’t ask him to make and keep it so early . When u go to the hotel, you expect fresh food. And definitely not an excuse that food was made long time back hence it is so dry and in edible. Starters and ala cart dishes came an hour after the order. And were extremely disappointing. Problem 3 : most of the members who ate here had stomach cramps and upsets the same day. We left the place with a yuk taste in the mouth and a yuk feeling in the tummy. Most plates though looked very good on presentation were barely edible.. Would never ever recommend this place to go even if you get free food vouchers.
They charged 20 bd and promised to deliver lunch, then after few days one of their office worker told us they have some ministry check then after 1 week they will start delivering lunch to my office , but it didn't come so they said they need 1 week time so after that 1 week their phones off ,that guy left the restaurant.......its only about 20 bd but don't know where they disappeared.
