This was my first time eating there, and now I 'm a fan. I 've tried a lot of different restaurant biscuits and gravy over the years, and I believe theirs is probably the best. I 'm not a local (anymore), but all of my family members are. When I asked where I should get breakfast, they automatically said, we 'll meet you at Mammie 's, you 'll like it . They were right, I did like it! The waitress was also very friendly and attentive (to all of her customers there).

The food was great! Yummy tasting and nice portion. The PRICE on the menu is NOT accurate. The French Toast said $2.99, but was $3.99 when I paid. The service and wait time for your food was a horrible. Waited over 10 minutes (after being seated) for a waitress to acknowledge us and waited over an hour for an omelet and French toast. Several tables walked out after ordering due to the long wait times. My husband said the waitress rolled her eyes at me when I asked for more chocolate in my chocolate milk. When we finished eating, we asked to pay for the single older man's meal that was sitting beside us. I heard him order eggs well done, toast, and coffee. When I went to pay, they tried to charge me for another tables meal (almost $30 worth). When I told them that is not what that man ordered, they kept insisting that was the order for his table. I finally had to walk over to the man and ask him what he ordered (then had to tell him why I asked) and go back and tell the cashier before they could get it right. Great food, but the organization of this business has a lot to be desired.

Friendly staff. Great homemade cakes and pies. Delicious milkshakes. I would've given five stars, but they have started serving breakfast only. I used to frequent them during lunch hours throughout the week.

Got take out. It was delicious. Really cute atmosphere. Friendly staff!
