Chipotle Mexican Grill - Mamaroneck

I was thrilled to find out that my favorite burrito spot is now closer to us. My previous experiences with other locations had been disappointing, but on March 29, 2021, I decided to give it another shot—and I’m so glad I did. My order was spot on! The large guacamole actually came in a genuinely large container, unlike the small plastic ones I usually receive. I really hope the service remains this great. Thank you to everyone who worked on our order; you made dinner with the family fantastic!

I really enjoy Chipotle, but today I had an unfortunate experience. I tried to order a chicken cheese quesadilla, but they refused to take my order, saying it would slow down the line and that they simply didn’t want to make it. Instead, I ordered a chicken bowl, but I noticed that the chicken wasn’t fully cooked. It seems like there’s always some sort of issue whenever I visit Chipotle.

I ordered two burrito bowls—one with traditional chicken and the other with Pollo Asado. When I clarified which bowl had which ingredients, she rudely replied, “Pollo Asado... Chicken; they’re both the same thing,” all while knowing exactly which ones I was referring to. Perhaps because I don’t appear Hispanic, she assumed I didn’t know what “chicken” means in Spanish? I have a lot of respect for restaurant staff since I used to manage a coffee shop in the industry, but this experience was utterly disappointing. I don’t ask for much from fast-food places, but a little respect goes a long way.

Got two chicken bowls yesterday, pinto beans and rice completely undercooked (think crunchy... . Posted complaint online, got a bot that gave me two BOGO coupons good for one month. I'm sorry, you want me to buy two more meals to make up for the two inedible ones? Filled out a form online with a review with the option for company to get back to me. Still waiting to hear back. No possibility to speak with an actual human. So disappointed with Chipotle

The staff are nice, the food is good, but my husband and I have ordered chips sporadically with burrito bowls since they opened and I have never had anything other than completely stale chips. Probably 4 or 5 experiences and last night cemented that we?ll never order chips and guac on the side again, since it?s just a waste of money.
