I have been here a couple of times for brunch I love the food and the drinks here! It’s a little on the expensive side (esp drinks), but a fun atmosphere and good staff. View all feedback.
What christopher geyer doesn't like about Barquila Tapas Cocktail Lounge:
Slow service. 2 hours is too long and when I have tapas I expect to have plates coming every so often. Long gaps between food arrival and waitress did not check on us enough. View all feedback.
Restaurant calculated me $100 said I didn't deal terrible with, not over open table and this place bad experience they take their credit card and calculate them without explanation for not appearing when they do and never tell them about these fees do not book with open table when they need a credit card
Did not realize this was a hookah bar. Cool vibe but really was not a restaurant. It was a bar with food. Loud music, very smoky, food not great and overpriced, drinks overpriced. Would have been less disappointed if I thought I was going to a lounge/bar but it wasn’t a good dinner experience. The staff was really nice and it was pleasant being there but just not a dinner spot.
We came during cinqo de mayo. Had to look for the hostess because she was busy helping with tables. Decided to sit outside. After a waitress passed four times and the table asking for her we had to get up to request service. Received food first then after finishing our food we received our drinks. Food was subpar and drinks were decent. Drinks were too sweet. I've had better food at pubs. Nothing to rave about. Took a while to get the bill and had to get up again to pay. One of the waitress tried to put a higher tip on the cards given. Luckily my friend caught it and gave the tip she deserved. Give poor service the tip reflects the service. Definitely won't be going back.
Very good good. Hookah was on point. Wait staff was attentive
This place is definitely more of a hookah lounge that has food rather than a real bar/restaurant. That doesn’t make it bad, just something to know so you know what you are walking in to. Definitely a party crowd even at 7pm on a Sunday. Food was okay. It wasn’t bad but there was nothing special about it and wasn’t that fresh. We didn’t get cocktails but they did look fun.
