Called in for a couple of beers after a long walk. The best couple of pints of Butty Bach we have had all holiday. Pleasant pub staff and dog friendly too. Great music! Basic yes, but note local pubs need to stay, so please cut them some slack. When they are gone, they are gone! You will be left looking at two 4 bedroom homes that are not making a contribution to the local economy or lifestyle! View all feedback.
What Jobyoneleg doesn't like about Three Horseshoes:
I met up with friends at this pub, but unfortunately, our experience was not great. The pub was cold and smokey, and it only got worse when the landlord decided to open the doors and windows on the coldest day of the year. The preordered food we received was poorly served, poorly cooked, and overpriced. It really put a damper on what could have been a nice day with friends. I don't think I will be returning to this e... View all feedback.
I can’t explain the food took nearly a hour to arrive but got told it would be 30 minutes and you could count on one hand the people in there we ordered 2 lots of sandwiches and lasagna with garlic bread the garlic bread wasn’t even cooked and the bread on the sandwiches were dry as if the was made days ago absolutely shocking will never return
Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience at this restaurant on Sunday. The roast dinners were served cold and the kids' burgers were raw. We were very dissatisfied and decided to leave and find another place to eat. We're sorry, but we will not be coming back.
Went for an early supper. It was stated that new management had taken over in the last 4 weeks. Beer was good but no lemonade for a shandy until the remade dispensing was sorted. No gammon was avaible from the limited menu. Fish chips and mushy peas peas were not but crushed frozen peas. The steak and ale with veg was pie with peas. The front of house staff were trying hard and friendly. The kitchen and supply management needs to be sorted out. To make this pub worth visiting.
We had five young children with us and needed to ensure their safety. The front of the pub had some nice benches, but they were too close to the road for small children. That's why we opted to sit in the beer garden area.
Called at lunchtime . Was welcomed and was advised that there wasn’t any baguettes available. However they accommodated me by doing a deconstructed steak baguette . It was delicious using fresh ingredients and the chips were cooked perfectly being crisp on outside . The other scampi meals were also well enjoyed .
