my partner and I went there fantastic. easy to find, lots of parking. the menu is oriented to delhi kitchen. it differs from any other Indian food we've ever had. it is clean, light and full taste. we loved...the service is very good and the prices are reasonable. do not let the idea of a pub that makes eating. this is a really excellent restaurant located in a pub. we will definitely come back (and very soon). the staff was friendly and friendly, eating was okay, but it was nothing special. possibly a little high for the size of the portion and quality. style about substance is a phrase that comes in the senses, as I think it. too much focus on presentation and not enough on taste. we had a selection of appetizers, sides and share a main thing with naan and rice. it came at the same time as desired so that we were able to... I deny this is authentic street food that I was happy to have more little teller tapas with a light Indian swirl. the madras curry (the main) was not very sharp. Total 6-7/10
I recently stayed at this restaurant with my 6-year-old goddaughter for the weekend. We had a disappointing experience as our food was served cold twice. I left a negative Google review and received a terrible response from the owners. It is disappointing that they are not taking responsibility for their mistakes. The owners' response was completely wrong and implied that we were lying about our experience. We were not trying to cause trouble, just hoping to enjoy a meal in the sun with a young child. The waiter who took our cold food back and removed it from our bill would surely not agree with the owners' response. This restaurant should be ashamed to call themselves a business.
What a nice happy find.small small campsite on the marlbank inn we were at a competition on the 3 districts fairground, so that this pub was only 3 miles from there eating was amazing and the service of all employees exceptional. we ate both nights were wonderful my man said that it was the best Indian food he had ever eaten, and that is a huge supplement the personal added the added flavor as he requested and absolutely beautiful
I visited Marlbank for the first time after hearing great reviews, and I was excited to try it out. We had a reservation for 7:30pm and arrived early to enjoy some drinks before being seated. The menu was limited but had a good variety of options, including some unique dishes. I started with wild prawns and potato aloo, followed by Chicken Markani and chicken madras. The food was overall very good, though the prawns were slightly cool and the aloo was a bit bland. The mains with Nan and rice were excellent, served on hot plates which I appreciated. The balti serving dishes could have been warmer, but the food was still enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive. I would definitely return and hope the food can be served hotter next time.
