Pizza religion is just one of the many pizza restaurants that have been popping out in the inner eastern suburbs but this one is a different kind. Pizza religion masterminds have actually thought it with quality and point of difference in mind. It's in the top end in terms of price but I believe it justifies. Yummy pizzas with unusual toppings, very thin crust, perfectly cooked. Strongly recommended. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pizza Religion:
We were served the worst pizza I have ever seen in my 40 years in Melbourne. The toppings were burnt to a crisp (both pizzas) till unrecognisable ... and of course inedible ! This venue was where LIVINGROOM used to be, and that was without a shadow of doubt, one of the best restaurant (Top 3 material) we have eaten in Melbourne. This put a sour note to the venue. Nothing more to say - the pictures tell the whole sto... View all feedback.
We booked a group of 22 for a Sunday afternoon to celebrate a family occasion. The pizza's themselves are fantastic our group ordered the garlic ands herb pizza's to share, and some of the chips were were spiced amazingly well. Our group ordered a range of pizza's from the tasty meatballs, through to the spiced chicken and the garlic prawn. Thin pizzas with FLAVOUR! A shame that the service at times was a little slow with one person waiting to receive their pizza after everyone else had almost all finished theirs an obvious mix up in the kitchen from our perspective. We brought a cake to celebrate and they provided plates, but were a little slow in bringing it out for us. We put it down to the younger, perhaps inexperienced waiting staff. Overall, come for the pizza and enjoy it.
Dined with family for a birthday dinner. I had the pizza special Moroccan lamb with baba ghanoush, cherry tomatoes, pomegranate, rocket, pine nuts cumin spiced yoghurt. It was so delicious. Others shared a few pizzas they all enjoyed them also. Will definitely return to try out other pizza flavours.
I arrived to collect an Online order. Following a 20 minute wait in the footpath...I asked about my order...advised it was coming...upon asking 20 minutes late..I was told by a non mask wearing individual who was handling all good it was coming..upon asking why he had no mask on..I was abused, sworn at and threatened...it turned out to be the owner Matt Hunter..I was the made to wait a further 10 minutes while my food sat in clear sight of me before he gestured to an employee to give it to me..upon getting...I was told off and I was lucky he gave me my food ..that is sanatised..he used abhorrent language. I would never support this man..or his behaviour towards customers or in front of young staff.
Decided to try this resturant at the very last minute (No Regrets) and the staff member was very obliging to fit us in and ensure we had suitable seating for our needs. The pizzas were absolutely delicious so tasty and really enjoyed the very thin crust. We had the Slow cooked lamb and the Mushroom with caramelised onion. Definitely Recommend.
I have eaten pizzas around the world. This has to rate in the best I have tasted. We had three different ones shared between us. All were superb with very thin crust. Highly recommended.
