Visited this cafe to satisfy a long denied longing for yiros on the recommendation of a friend. Just simply, excellent food for both my companions and me. We sat outside and the food was brought out. As a chip critic I judge the chips first class. The yiros was well filled with salad and lamb. View all feedback.
What Claire B doesn't like about Savvas Yiros:
Unfortunately as soon as I walked through the door I knew Savas had changed hands. The food confirmed this. Once our favourite Yiros in Adelaide, unfortunately no longer. The quality of the lamb is not the same too chewy) and the garlic sauce almost totally lacks any garlic. Savas garlic sauce could keep the vampires away for a month. Alas, no longer. Poorly made meat balls. no taste. Was so horrible that i had to put the whole plate in the bin. Only outer layer was cooked. All raw inside. Not even good for a trial.
Best yiros in town! Their potatoes r amazing too! Super friendly staff and speedy service. Always hits the yiros spot!
I'm with bundi on this one guys been going here for years . This place is an institution in malvern , been around for yrs or so ... Great food , great service . Prices are the same all over adelaide , I actually think this place is cheaper then most ... One drawback is that they don't have Eftpos facilities . Don't know what these other clowns are talking about cause these guys are always consistent with there product unlike yiannis .
