Royal Thai Orchid - Malvern

The restaurant that took over from the previous Thai restaurant in the same location has updated their interior. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. While they do offer dine-in options, I prefer to get takeout from there once a week. I especially love their Thai Basil with Beef. I would definitely recommend it!

During lunch service, the restaurant offers a decent selection of entrees. I went with the Thai fried rice, which was okay but not particularly flavorful. The standout dish for me was the yellow noodle chicken soup. I also ordered a veggie spring roll as an appetizer. The service was a bit slow as there was only one person working, so they had to attend to every table. It would be beneficial to have more staff to ensure timely service.

The restaurant has recently changed ownership and I am looking forward to trying it out. They are currently renovating the interior dining room and offering takeout services. I am giving them 5 stars in anticipation of my visit. Can't wait to try their food!
