I adore this restaurant. The pizza here reminds me of the one I used to get in my old Philadelphia neighborhood. The atmosphere may not be the best, but the service and pizza are top-notch. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Johns Pizza:
This restaurant is quite pricey for dishes that can easily be reheated at home. They were out of coffee due to a lack of creamer and one item on the menu was no longer available. For nearly 50 years, this restaurant has been serving the best pizzas and hoagies.
This restaurant is quite pricey for dishes that can easily be reheated at home. They were out of coffee due to a lack of creamer and one item on the menu was no longer available. I ordered two bottles of soda, chicken fingers, and a hamburger that was much smaller than the bun, all for $28. I was disappointed and don't plan on returning. Additionally, there was a heated argument between what seemed like the owner and a man in a rustic pickup truck, which was quite loud and uncomfortable. Overall, not a great experience.

Large place with a lot of seating. I have a personal pizza for me and couldn't finish it, very big! Friendly owner and reasonable prices.
I've been going here for years. The pizza is excellent, especially the pepperoni; but also the veggie lovers, which has so many toppings it's almost a salad. The cold sandwiches are simply the best in the area. Tuna... The John's special Italian... Steak sandwiches... You can't wrong.
