Description

A beloved Malvern café serving hearty, Southern-leaning sandwiches, standout chicken and turkey options, creamy New England clam chowder, and more than 20 cupcake varieties. Known for fresh, homemade flavors—sticky rolls, lemon‑basil pasta, deviled eggs—and reliable box lunches and bento deals ideal for groups or day trips. Friendly, efficient staff and a cozy atmosphere make it a favorite for families and travelers; desserts and coffee are highlights, though pancakes and some cupcakes feel overrated and portions can seem pricey.

Always quick, fresh, and delicious! We frequently order from Dixie Picnic for lunch, and it has consistently been excellent. The chicken salad sandwich is a staple for us, and the egg salad sandwich and pimento cheese are also fantastic. The clam chowder is wonderfully creamy and fresh. The bento boxes make for the perfect lunch!

The Nutty Chicken Salad is outstanding. My top choice for a cupcake is the Toasted Almond. In fact, all the food and cupcakes are skillfully prepared, delicious, and wholesome. It’s definitely one of my favorite places to order from!

Wow! This was probably the best sandwich I've had in a long time. I ordered the turkey-your-way box lunch, and it was a great value for the money. The deviled egg was quite tasty, and the lemon basil pasta salad was absolutely amazing! It also comes with a little cupcake; I got the peanut butter one, but I was too full to eat it just yet. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

This place is legit. The rolls are SO GOOD. their New England clam chowder is the best Ive had in town, not too heavy, but still creamy and filling. I think the lunch boxes are a great deal, especially when a sandwich alone from most places these days is $17+.
