One of the last restaurants standing in a little store front. We has a great experience at Avola. Between the food to service everything was spectacular. Honestly, I wish I could give a better review. I'm not sure if it's because it's a new place or maybe a rough night.Food felt really overpriced for what I got. Delicious food (especially pizzas), wonderful service and around fantastic atmosphere.
It was SO LOUD! It was so hard to communicate with even the one sitting next to you. So so so loud music. I think if you are finding a place to enjoy talking to your people, this isn’t the place you are looking for. I think I was yelling the entire time there. Their food was decent. All the food was tasty starting from appetizers. We got cheese board, meatball, mushroom toast etc. MUSHROOM TOAST is a must get! So good! I am going to try making it at home too. Their black ink shrimp scampi was different from what I expected but it’s spiciness and red sauce was very good. Some might think it’s too spicy. Their drink selection was POOR. So many things were unavailable or they did not carry it. Parking was okay. Service was nice. They miss placed the entrée for one person.
Food and service was phenomenal. Pizzas are great and the crust is almost the best part about them. Desserts were tremendous as well. Will be coming back soon.
