We arrived a bit early service was a little patchy until the rest of the evening staff arrived. By the time we left, the restaurant, which is not big was full of folk families, Very traditional with Football on the TV: I had Bacalhau espiritual (Cod with mashed potatoes and a sauce to die for! My wife had Borrego Assado (stewed roast lamb in a wonderful sauce again to die for. Highly recommended. Closed Thursday evening Friday.

The food we have experienced was varied and got to the restaurant 's reputation level. Mostly the cozido à portuguesa , one of the most traditional portuguese offers, which is here well honored. It is worth to go, if you really want to expend some 30 minutes away from Lisbon.
