Though big groups can e... read more We ordered fish thali's and special fish order. Fish was fresh and good. The ambience is not good and sitting is a shack like structure. Though big groups can enjoy the food together. Other varieties then sea food are not much as the name suggest Only Fish it has Only Ok Sea Food. Cost is not very different from other fish serving restaurants in the area. So do not think that you will get good fish at comparatively cheaper price. Bill they made was more and as we checked the order and cross checked we notice and got it rectified. So my advice to the big groups do cross check your order and bill.

The seafood options are diverse and of high quality, with reasonable prices. Conveniently situated for visitors returning from Sindhudurg Fort or scuba diving excursions, it is just a short walk from the jetty.

I was hoping the Surmai would be bigger and more special compared to what I have had in Pune. They do offer a variety of seafood options like prawns and Tisre (clams) which were delicious. Unfortunately, my wife ordered a vegetarian dish and was disappointed with a basic dal and roti.

As soon as you step in, you'll be greeted by the delicious aroma of fried fish and curry. The food is prepared using fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly in the traditional local style.
