I met up with a friend for lunch at this restaurant. We both ordered the falafel panini and a pot of Yorkshire tea. The panini with chips was delicious, and so was the service. We also received a complimentary glass of prosecco. Overall, we rated the food and service as 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere as 4 out of 5. The average price per person was between £10 and £20. What Venonymous dislikes about Chapter One Bistro:
Rang up at 11:45, ordered 2 plain cheese burgers with chips for takeaway. Arrived at 12:15 and they had only made one, which wasn’t plain. Came back another 20 mins later for the second one as they’d forgotten, which granted isn’t the end of the world, but the burger was small, and the fries were so soggy I didn’t bother. £22 for all this when we can just go elsewhere and get it for under £10. The restaurant greeted us warmly and provided excellent service. The food was delicious and befitting of a place that has consistently been awarded prizes. The prices were very reasonable.
We had a fantastic time during our visit to this restaurant today. The staff was extremely diligent, quick to serve customers, and also took the time to be friendly with everyone. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really enjoyable and it appears to be a popular favorite among many. The attention to detail in the dining area was very impressive. The menu offered a variety of options and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience.
