I especially appreciated the unique touch of having a gallery for a talented painter, showcasing beautiful artwork alongside delicious dishes. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. While their chowder was ranked as second best, I still loved the atmosphere of the place.

Last year we visited the gallery, and left with a framed print of one of Scott’s paintings. This time we had dessert and coffee at the cafe. The Raspberry Meringue Delight beckoned us, and true to its name it was delightful. We sat on the deck and savoured the tartness and sweetness, sipped our coffee, and watched the passers by. I spoke with a couple from Quebec City, who expressed their pleasure about the quality and pricing of their meal. Our server was friendly and attentive, and we had a friendly conversation with Scott as he took a break from painting. Recommended!

You can dine in or on the beautiful porch. Local craft beers and wine are available. The service is second to none. Friendly and relaxing. Scott O'Neil and his wife are the owners and very hands on. Scott also has a gallery on the premises of his own art. Classes and paint nights are also available here. Simply fabulous.
