A little gem in the middle of the mountains... we stumbled upon it by chance, received a warm welcome, and the meal was exceptional. Starter, main course, dessert, water, and coffee for €16 per person: unbeatable! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, thank you for this wonderful experience
The restaurant is a little dated, but otherwise everything is fine: homemade, good-quality food, friendly staff, and excellent prices.
Very good ingredients. It's a local restaurant, everyone knows each other, and people chat from table to table. The only thing is, use a little less butter because my cholesterol levels rise just looking at my casoncelli.
We were wandering around the area, and given it was lunchtime, we spotted the place because of its limited parking space and the crowds, so we stopped in without a second thought. The atmosphere was quaint and homey, so we asked for a table, and the kindness of the owner, Elide Doris, welcomed us. The lady serving us brought us the menu: casoncelli bresciani and bigoli with duck ragù. The aroma of fresh ingredients was delicious, a well-presented dish. We found the carne salada (a specialty we'd discovered in Trentino) and the venison morsels. The atmosphere is retro, but we like simple things; it takes us back to a time when everything was different.
I often stop by when I'm in the area. Even though the place is a bit dated, there's a simple atmosphere, which is what I like. The menu is simple and really well cooked. Water in a glass, good wine, coffee, first course, second course, and side dish are only €11. But whoever writes bad reviews? Stay home and eat!
