We ordered spaghetti with seafood for our 8 year old daughter, as well as the pasta being very spicy we had to wait more than 45 minutes for a simple plate of pasta. The waitress initially stated that the seafood pasta with the Italian recipe was spicy, then later began to say that the chef didn't add spicy. The waitress hadn't warned that it would be spicy but the menu didn't warn either. Unacceptable!!! The pasta was just badly made with frozen seafood. The little girl was very upset, don't come!! On top of this the waitress calls us idiots for not knowing the Italian recipe!!
We were wandering around the area, and given it was lunchtime, we spotted the place because of its limited parking space and the crowds, so we stopped in without a second thought. The atmosphere was quaint and homey, so we asked for a table, and the kindness of the owner, Elide Doris, welcomed us. The lady serving us brought us the menu: casoncelli bresciani and bigoli with duck ragù. The aroma of fresh ingredients was delicious, a well-presented dish. We found the carne salada (a specialty we'd discovered in Trentino) and the venison morsels. The atmosphere is retro, but we like simple things; it takes us back to a time when everything was different.
I often stop by when I'm in the area. Even though the place is a bit dated, there's a simple atmosphere, which is what I like. The menu is simple and really well cooked. Water in a glass, good wine, coffee, first course, second course, and side dish are only €11. But whoever writes bad reviews? Stay home and eat!
