This restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere and great service. It was a bit unusual for me, though it seems to be a common practice in this part of Wisconsin, where diners are asked to order and eat at the bar before being seated. Once we finished our meals, we were shown to our table. The food was quite good; I had a T-Bone steak that was cooked perfectly, and my parents enjoyed their meals as well. However, one of t... We went at the busiest time... Saturday 6pm, they said 1.5 hour wait...only waited 1 hour. Drinks were good, food was Ok. Steak tenderloin was not what I am used to quality wise. Twice baked potato was crusty on the outside, ok on the inside. Service was friendly, but again we went at a busy time...and service was slow. Had a party of 16 in front of us... View all feedback.
Arrive early! The setting is beautiful, right on the lake. The soup was excellent, and the rolls were warm, soft, and delicious. The prime rib was massive and not overly salted, which is a pleasant change from many places. The soup also wasn't salty at all. My only downside was that the creamy horseradish had way too much cream and not enough radish.
I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant with good service. It’s a bit unusual for me, but it seems to be common in this part of Wisconsin: you place your order at the bar before being seated. Once your food is ready, they show you to your table. The food was quite good; my T-bone was cooked perfectly, and my parents enjoyed their meals as well. However, one of the bartenders appeared to be drunk, and my old fashioned sour drink was terrible. I switched to the other bartender, who was sober, and ordered a sweet old fashioned, which turned out to be a classic and delicious choice. So, if you go, I recommend getting drinks from the sober bartender! In conclusion, I would definitely make the drive around the lake again and would happily return.
Incredible food and exceptional service! This is a wonderful spot for a night out with that special someone. Be sure to try the mouthwatering prime rib—just be warned, it’s so delicious that you might find it hard to stop eating!
Had a wonderful dining experience. Polka band playing outside was a nice surprise. The sunset was beautiful. Our bartender Matt, was amazing. Very personable and remember all 8 drinks each time. Our food was amazing right down to the rolls. Our waitress wasfunny and handled us very well. We will definitely return soon!!
We drove 45 min to Jim Linda 's tonight. We arrived at 6:30pm. We were told there would be 1.5 hour wait. We waited and waited...finally 9pm we were called to our table. Not to mention many people walked in before us, ordered, and were seated wellbefore us. We got to our table and waited another hour before our food came out. We were with a party of 4. I could understandif we were in a large group. We left at 10:30 pm. It took 4 hours for our group of 4 to be seated and eat....im not sure ifdisorganization is the issue or if they simply let the regulars ahead of us no name faced customer ???? The scallops weregreat, the rest wasn 't very good, but again it was 10pm at night by the time we got our food so im pretty sure the cook hadpunched out. We won 't be back ????
