The service was good, and the food was enjoyable as well. The restaurant was a bit warm for my liking. They accommodate seniors over 65 and children under 15.
If you're in the mood for some classic Chinese cuisine, you can't go wrong with Hap Chan. Regular visitors know just how delicious the food is at this restaurant. I often order the taho with gulaman, which is really tasty, although it’s not always available—perhaps it’s because so many guests love this dessert! Parking isn't an issue either; there's plenty of space for everyone.
The restaurant offers a wonderful variety of Chinese dishes. The service is excellent, and the interiors are clean and inviting.
If you're seeking semi-authentic Chinese food at a budget-friendly price, this restaurant is likely a great choice for you. Personally, I really enjoy their dim sum, sweet and sour dishes, and soups—especially the nido soup with quail eggs and the polanchay soup. Though I'm not a fan of vegetables, I find the polanchay soup to be quite delicious. A helpful tip: if you're visiting branches outside of Manila, try to avoid peak hours, as these locations often have trainees or on-the-job trainees serving, and generally have fewer staff compared to the branches in Manila.
