Perched with sweeping Malibu mountain views, this bustling Starbucks blends friendly, skilled baristas, reliable Wi‑Fi and convenient power outlets with a lively, people‑watching atmosphere. Rewards redemptions and expertly made drinks keep regulars coming, while weekend car meets, occasional crowds and nearby homeless activity create uneven experiences. Clean and efficient at times, the location also suffers sporadic slowdowns and occasional order mistakes. Note: there’s no on‑site restroom, and parking can be dominated by events, but the cafe remains a popular, scenic spot for work or a casual meet‑up.
Great place to hang out. Parking can be tricky at times. But there is a free EV charging station right at the corner. Very convenient.
This place deals with a lot. There are homeless running around, rich people, car nuts and everything in between in Malibu. The area has gone under a bit of a war with the local car community. They meet here every Sunday and take over the parkinglot. This doesn't affect the Starbucks in a negative way. They are good at getting people in and out. Andy is a baristagenius. He anticipates the crowds and is ready to go when it gets busy. I order espresso and they always have it ready when Ipay. Then I step outside and tell some homeless guy I don't have cash. Thats the only bummer is that the homeless are justthere. Then there's the regular traffic from the surrounding areas. This Starbucks is holding strong, even with 4 competingcoffee shops nearby! Malibu loves its coffee!! If you go here on a weekend you might see Jay Leno or Jerry Seinfeld. Maybe. Hope you like.
Service was great but they don?t have any outlets. I was working on my laptop while having some coffee and some snacks and it died.
Good vibe around it. Nice and kind staff and the interior is good through the glass roof.
The atmosphere was calm, clean, and relaxed during my visit. It was raining at the time, which added to the cozy ambiance. I visited in 2018/19.
