We just loved this place, it was well set out, attractive and inviting as we walked by, so had to go in. The food was very good, we won't be back only because we live interstate, but the dining experience was generous and appreciated. View all feedback.
What Yohan doesn't like about Monica’s Cafe:
We had the mushroom and spinach toast with extra beans. The hash browns seemed the of frozen variety, and the baked beans were most certainly canned. See pics. Nice place though, and nice staff. Sadly I wouldn’t return. View all feedback.
Amazing little cafe in the main street. Delicious food and a wide range of options to meet most nutritional needs. The top floor seating area was cozy and great. A lively cafe is always a good sign, and after eating here we can see why! Great value, cheap meals and great served! Very fast, despite the filling, and the staff was all beautiful. Would definitely recommend!
We were so glad to find this beautiful little café in Maleny. After we were asked about gluten-free options, we were told that the manager is coeliac, so they don't only offer gluten-free options, they take cross-contamination very seriously. They were able to offer a gluten-free bacon and burger and roast the hash brown in a separate pan instead of the common frit. The area above was beautiful and offered a great atmosphere. The service was fast and efficient. Would definitely recommend.
Absolutely delicious breakfast in a small café. The staff was friendly, good choice on the menu, including gluten-free, milk-free and vegan options, and the food was made clear fresh to order. We both chose the big breakfast that was delicious. Many people come and go, including regular customers welcomed by employees who obviously had to know them. I would definitely return if I am happy enough to visit Maleny again and would highly recommend.
Really happy to find Monica open when nothing else seemed to be. Service was very friendly and attentive. The food was mouthwater and very satisfying. Great vegan options. We rolled out and then did the 8km Platypus Trek to try it.
I continued my crusade to find the best BLT in the world. Monicas version was note-worthy – nice crunchy roll, some chunky chips, tasty bacon but the serving was a bit unwieldy with a very generous serve of tomato, much too much lettuce (2 cms thick) and not enough bacon. In summary it needs more B, much less L and a little less T.
