we stopped here on the way back to our car after a mile to foot and sooo rejoiced us. nice friendly atmosphere, welcomed by locals (I accept), and brought menus past. beautiful environment, clean and really beautiful furnishings. we had steak and ale pier and braincake. it was great. everything was clear to home cooked, the gravy was amazing and the chips were so good. the staff was nice and friendly and so cheap. ca... This restaurant is amazing! The food is outstanding and the owners are very welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely come back next time I'm in the area.
I recently visited The Cricketers with a group of friends for a meet up. We received a warm welcome from the owner and decided to try the Christmas Sunday roast. We were given a choice of lamb, turkey, beef, or pork, and there were plenty of different vegetables and extra gravy on the table. I personally recommend the lamb as it was tender and lean. Despite being full, we couldn't resist trying the desserts. The staff were all very polite and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be returning to this place and highly recommend it.
We spent several evenings at The Cricketers while visiting Bradwell with our family to explore our roots. Tony and Craig were extremely welcoming and the food and drinks were superb. We were staying in a nearby caravan and will definitely be returning soon. We plan to send some WW2 pictures to Tony and Craig as a thank you for their hospitality.
What a fantastic pub food was great the couple who run the run pub really look after you staff amazing would recommend to visit
We visited the pub today while visiting our niece who lives locally, the food was really lovely homemade, the owners couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. We would be happy to recommend it to all our friends and family.
