I was disappointed to find animal products like milk chocolate and honey being sold here, especially after a staff member lectured me about choosing soy or some nuts—I'm not entirely sure which. I would recommend the one in Colchester instead, as they have stronger ethical practices, friendlier staff, and better prices.
This store offers a wide range of vegan foods, including a pick-and-mix section. In addition to food, they sell detergents, cleaning products, cards, lunch bags, soaps, and more. You can bring your own containers for them to fill, or they will provide your items in brown paper bags. The service is friendly and excellent! Silo is a fantastic spot to stock up on your vegan essentials. The zero-waste approach is an added bonus, so make sure to bring your own containers! Their dried tomatoes are amazing!
Disappointed to see animal products (milk chocolate and honey) sold here after I have been sold by an employee about the food of soya or some nuts, I forget. I would be with the in Colchester, the stronger ethics, nicer staff and cheaper
