The food was nice, the service, not so nice. The head waiter was walking round arrogantly, the young white guy who cleared our table, had a handful of dirty plates and was walking back to the kitchen and this guy literally shouldered him out of the way. I don't like that. We didn't even get asked if we wanted desert, and there was no offer of coffees etc, it was just like give us your £175 and leave. No free tipple f... View all feedback.

Looking for somewhere to eat recently after a day in Maldon. A couple of places we tried were fully booked but this place could find us a table so decided to have a curry. The staff were friendly and the restaurant looked clean and tidy, the food was good and we enjoyed our curry.
The food was excellently presented and tasted fantastic. Staff were friendly and not over enthusiastic. A good atmosphere in which to enjoy a meal.

We were looking for an Indian that could cater for gluten free and this place didn't disappoint. The poppadoms were delicious, so were the sauces and salad that went with them. There wasn't a gluten free menu but the manager (i think) was able to advise that 95% of the dishes were or could be gluten free. I had chicken tikka massala, and my partner had a garlic chilli balti, after some advice from the manager. We also had garlic mushrooms which were the most amazing garlic mushrooms ever! All in all very tasty. A huge menu so there is loads to choose from! Friendly, helpful staff.We will definitely be back again.
