I visited for the second time, and it was just as delightful and delicious as my first experience. This is truly the best Italian restaurant, without a doubt. The chef is from Italy, and his passion for cooking shines through in every dish. The prices are fantastic, and the customer service is outstanding. I give it a perfect 10 out of 10! What User doesn't like about Il Camino:
Below par food. Sent one main back and didn't wife didn't finish hers. Very dry salmon, it's almost certainly frozen. Bland vegetables served as a side to the main dishes have literally zero imagination put into them. Only two stars due to it being on the cheaper end of dining out. Definitely wouldn't return. Most home cooks can knock up a better meal than we had here. View all feedback.

I had a lovely evening with my partner and sister-in-law at a charming restaurant located in the oldest building in Maldon. The atmosphere was delightful, and the food was excellent, all offered at reasonable prices. It was nice to chat with the staff, who shared interesting stories about the building and its history, which added to the experience. It's been a few years since my last visit, but I will definitely be returning. This has become my go-to spot.
