Monte Baldo - MALCESINE

As it was chilly and windy we decided to relax here and have coffee and dessert, it was soo nice and the views are outstanding. Service was brilliant and wish we had stopped for lunch as the food looked amazing, I would have given 5 but it was a bit pricey for 2 coffees and a slice of cheesecake but I would recommend. They sell clothing like fleeces and have a cake counter. its lovely and clean

Sadly no beautiful view from top to Monte Baldo despite this Funivia Cableway definately a fun thing to. Cafe a top was cosy with a nice atmosphere, pleasant staff, delicious strudel. Dissaponited i got 'yuk 'UHT milk for my T as my husband given fresh milk for his coffee!

We visited Monte Baldo at the end of March and the weather on the saturday was excellent, so we took the Cable car fro Malcesine to the top 6200ft it was 22 euros each which was great value the cable car rotates through 360 degs so where ever you are in the cable car you get a great view , but when you reach the top WOW! the views down onto Lake garda are amazing there are various walks along the top depending on the conditions and several restaurants/bars at the top . its a must do when visiting Lake garda tou can also pre book the cable Car tickets online so as to miss the queue at the bottom.

A great visit despite the 2 hour wait. The cable cars are fast and the views from the top are stunning. At the top is a decent resteraunt but we just sat and marvelled at the views. Take plenty of water for the queue apart from that it is well worth the wait.

Would highly reccomend a trip to Monte Baldo if you are staying on the lake. The gondola is very smooth and the views from the top are exceptional! This is very popular so would reccomend getting there early to avoid the queues and if possible prebook tickets.
