Was Aaron Nathaniel Baribar at Big-j Resto a mag?
If you are looking for unli seafoods but affordable here in Boracay, this is the place to be! I tried all their food, but really focused on the unli scallops, oysters and mussels! Rice is good quality too. Soup that day was sinigang. Not really a sinigang-person but I had several rounds of this warm flavorful broth. Place is clean. Servers are kind and attentive. Hidden in the souvenir shops, this is a hidden gem for... View all feedback.

What Sara G dislikes about Big-j Resto:
I was quite disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The buffet food was cold and lacked flavor. The ambiance was unappealing, and while there was a decent singer, they soon switched to an incredibly annoying kids' remix after just three songs. A special tip: avoid the bathroom at all costs. Overall, I would rate my visit as follows: Food: 1, Service: 3, Atmosphere: 1. Meal type: Dinner, Price per person:... View all feedback.

Total basura. Dinner for a big group, worth 6k. Not wheelchair accessible. Their musician sucks too. Madumi ang restroom But here is the main story: Boodle fight with 6kg female crabs ang usapan. They served the crabs cut in half and without that telltale flap. Parang tinago kung babae talaga. 2 pcs lang yata may aligue, and many had really dark meat. The mussels were dry, like it was cooked way too early and reheated several times. Save your money. Go to more established places. Stay away from local ones like this. They also let you know of their service charge only when you're about to pay.

Oh my god. This place was a nightmare. We entered here because of unlimited scallops and oysters despite of bad ambiance of the restaurant. You cant have a catering style dining experience at beach! the oysters were so dry, its meat was like 25 cents small. The sauce of the scallops was so bland. The worst part was I FOUND A BIG FLY ON THEIR SINIGANG SOUP! O MY GOD. I talked to their manager and he keeps insisting that we have to pay because we ate many oysters, but in fact THAT IS BECAUSE OF THE SHELL OF THE OYSTERs MAKING OUR PLATES FULL OF IT. Food 2/10 Sanitation 2/10 Ambiance 1/10 Personell 1/10 Im sorry this is just an honest review.

The P375 dinner buffet was just ordinary pinoy food, the taste a hit and miss, the pork asado was salty, the baby squid adobo was very good and the other dishes were just okay. But what I really enjoyed was the live band playing smooth rock; and sitting at the open top floor overlooking the setting sun and cool music playing and downing 4 tequila sunrises' made the dinner easily digestable. Will consider revisiting again. Food: 3
