The Barn
Menu
On this webpage, you will find the complete menu of The Barn from Malate. Currently, there are 12 dishes and drinks available.
The Barn in Taft is a go-to spot for comfort food, offering generous servings though slightly pricier than other nearby student-friendly restaurants. The first floor is cheaper but lacks air conditioning, while the second floor provides a more comfortable dining experience. The ribs are meaty and flavorful, not to be missed. Their signature roast chicken is a must-try, with tender meat and delicious sauce. While the prices are a bit higher than other Taft options, the quality and portion sizes justify it. The Beefy Mushroom and katsudon are also highly recommended dishes. It can get lively on certain nights, so choose your floor wisely based on your preference for ambiance and noise levels. Overall, The Barn offers a great dining experience with tasty food that keeps customers coming back for more.

The barn's signature roast chicken won't disappoint. It's a bit expensive, but well worth it. The meat is very soft, which makes it very easy to eat and also tasty. Your sauce goes perfectly with it and I suggest you ask for an extra sauce because it's just free. And if you are on a rice-free diet, consider an exception as there is only one thing about their rice that is not to be missed. View all feedback.
Their ribs is one of the best ribs I've tasted ever. Not that comparable with Ra/ck's ribs becausse their ribs are baby back. For a mature pork, I find their ribs meaty enough.
It is not only an 'inuman' place but also the food is great. Their katsudon and beef kebab is a must try but i think it's not available in the 2nd floor. (1st floor and 3rd floor only) The wicked oreos also 10/10
This place is a bit pricier compared to your usual selections around Taft, but the food is quality and in big servings. The first floor is not air-conditioned so it's pretty dusty and hot, but the steaks are to die for. The T-Bone Steak is a must try. For the 2nd floor, the ambience and vibes are way better because of the low lighting and barn like appearance. The food is more expensive than the 1st floor, but I prefer staying there because it can get rowdy below especially on Happy Thursdays. My go to order is the Beefy Mushroom which is just AMAZING.
