I recently visited this restaurant and while the food was good, the service was terrible. Two weeks ago, we ordered dessert but it was forgotten and never brought to us. Last night, we waited for several minutes at a table without being acknowledged or asked for our order. The poor service has deterred me from returning to this establishment. View all feedback.

Great meals and service, forgot to take any photos. If you’re in Malanda this is a must eat restaurant in the local RSL. Michelle and Shana and the team at Top Rail Tavern did such an amazing job for us last Friday. Our group of 33 had a fabulous lunch. The table set up looked so good and it was great to walk in to such a lovely welcome. The meals were delicious, the braised beef cheek was my favourite and we were very spoiled with wonderful desserts as well. Would highly recommend to anyone for a brilliant dining experience, and for that special occasion. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our group will definitely be back. Many many thanks for making our function so special.
