We are regular customers of this Mexican kitchen. It's located in the back of the store and is primarily take-out although they do have a couple of pub style tables chairs. They have daily lunch specials and dinner menu on the weekend. Great food great service. BEST burritos !!! View all feedback.
What Gunnar Haag dislikes about Mennomex:
I enjoy stopping by this restaurant a few times a year when I'm in Aylmer, Ontario, looking for some delicious Mexican food and groceries. However, I was disappointed to see that some employees were not wearing masks and were fussing about having to wear them. Many patrons in the store were also not wearing masks or practicing social distancing. It is unfortunate that Middlesex County was slow to reach level three st... View all feedback.
We come here several times a year. Mostly to get their home made Mennomex Salsa, its so good. Just a note, at this time of year they run out of medium salsa. They always have lots of hot and some mild. The new batch will be coming later in August. Usually get something from their lunch counter. Varied menu and always good. If you like Mexico and are missing the products and flavours, this is the place to go.
The first time I saw that place must have been over 10 years ago—and it has changed a lot since then! It had plenty of one-of-a-kind food items, most with Mexican flavor, as well as it served Mexican food. Many customers were Mennonites. When I visited the place in 2014, there were quite original and colorful paintings on its outside wall, but they were not there anymore—apparently a truck had driven into that very wall and it had to be replaced (but I am glad I took a photo of those murals then!).
Good cheap food nice staff in middle of nowhere we were glad to stop by for lunch if came back this way again would definitely stop for more.
Came for family Christmas and HAD to stop in for breakfast! Best breakfast ever! I have missed this the past 4 years because I live in alberta. Please open one there!!
