Nice place but charges to much for drinks 6 90 for a shandy every where else 3 20
Lively modern bar in a beautiful upmarket town. Adult crowd. Good for dancing on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Has a college party vibe but the venue itself is great. Stopped in for a few pints during my visit to Malahide, appreciated that they poured twice to cover the foam of my Guinness (Traducido por Google) Tiene un ambiente de fiesta universitaria, pero el lugar en sí es genial. Me detuve por unas pintas durante mi visita a Malahide, aprecié que se sirvieran dos veces para cubrir la espuma de mi Guinness.
High price, no service for drinks it's up to you to manage to do the service! Places on a terrace reserved to eat and others to drink? Stay pleasant for lunch and correct staff
Gilbert Wright offers a mix of positives and negatives in its reviews. Some customers had issues with slow service, rude staff, and uncomfortable atmospheres. However, there were also positive experiences with great food, attentive staff, and a fun atmosphere. The restaurant offers a diverse menu, including delicious chicken wings and fresh beers. The outdoor heaters add to the ambiance, and the bar has a lively Sunday evening scene with live music. Overall, Gilbert Wright seems to be a hit or miss depending on the visit, but it is worth trying for the food and lively atmosphere.

The first time I was here. at the beginning was nice staff very good. a lot of space when I went with others, big screen. comfortable sofas. I got the lunch deal for bbq wings. had a BBQ sauce ate, it was not nice, it was sweet as most BBQ sauce. I asked the staff if I had the other option. it wasn't a problem. it took this time round to compare to the original order. but even the southern fried chicken was not the best, but not bad. and the smell of smoke from the side door while we sat inside was terrible.
The terrace is lovely, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the snacks are fantastic.

Had a couple of drinks seated at the outside tables, staff friendly and efficient. Paid by card , checked card account next morning and it states I was drinking in Howth Railway Station , bit confusing if you’d had a couple.

We ordered drinks while waiting for our food, and I can honestly say that the 20-minute wait for the food was the most uncomfortable experience I've had. The managers kept walking by, sizing us up and questioning what we were waiting for, which made me just want to leave as quickly as possible. The only bright spot in this experience was the gentleman who took our order at Wishbone; he was genuinely friendly and the only positive aspect of our visit. While I can't say I won't return—since the food from Wishbone was fantastic—I plan to order for collection next time to avoid spending another minute in that uncomfortable environment.
We experienced some unwelcome attention from a drunken Irish patron who even got physically aggressive. Fortunately, the DJ stepped in, but he appeared to side with the 'locals.' We were relieved to leave without injury. Overall, it was an extremely hostile and unruly bar. I would recommend staying away at all costs.
