Walking in... read more My twin brother Stephen and I were pub and bar hopping around the wonderful Old Town when we chanced upon La Taberna De Monroy and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here ,the interior is superb ,exposed brickwork,a cool looking serving bar ,vintage posters adorn the walls and lots of seating options both inside and outside looking out onto the buzzing Old Town streets,we sat inside as all outside seating was occupied ,a very pleasant member of the bar team served us bottles of Victoria Brewery beer ,served chilled ,we settled back and took in the great tavern we were in. I really enjoy this beer as does my brother ,it's such a light,hoppy and very drinkable beer perfect for the hot climate out here in Malaga ,it was just so good being with my twin Ste enjoying a freezing cold beer sat in such a great tavern and a very cool location. We really enjoyed our beers and visit to here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to here we had a great time. La Taberna De Monroy is easy to locate along Calle Moreno Monroy,a street and area teeming with pubs,bars,cafés and restaurants and some great architecture and a major tourist destination . A wonderful tavern,if you're in the area a tavern I highly recommend you seek out.

Wanted a Spanish version, something like Soberano, but alas, not even consulted.
