Malaga was overall great but this was our definite highlight when it comes to food and service. We came back several times throughout our 1-week stay.
Esquina Padilla is a great place for tapas or main courses. Sit outside or inside. Always good and competent service and very good and authentic Spanish food. Do not miss it! I enjoyed it! The paella for 2, the croquetas and Callos are my favorites. Sangria is always refreshing. Do not miss it!
Nice found in Malaga. Friendly service, good food. Size of the portions varies a bit, but generally one won't be disappointed. Good choice of wines and slightly reduced number of beers. We would recommend grilled octopus, raw tuna, andalusian ragoût and salmon with vegetables. Not very impressed with iberian pork cheeks and baby squids.
If you care about quality and well prepared seafood, this is the right place. Tapas are damn delicious. Fresh products and most of the dishes are NOT fied! Bonus it is a bit aside from the big noisy crowds.
We did not plan to go at this restaurant but we were glad to find one open even if we respect the working hours. The personal is very kind and the food came into large portions which I did not expect. The vegetables were a but too grilled I must mention, but overall I recommend the place. The wine and also traditional chupitos (small shots) were aromatic and not diluted as I found in other places.
