An original, long, narrow st... read more I almost passed and missed on one of the best meals I had in Malacca with the green plants and small signboard near the front door. An original, long, narrow storehouse, it is beautifully decorated and gives you the feeling that you eat in someone's home kitchen. You have a good menu as Vegetarian I decided to ask for recommendations on suitable dishes. I tried the spicy green curry and the heritage ginger milk tea. The attractive and helpful staff offered a fast service and while waiting I listened to the cook singing together with background music someone fun making great food. The green curry was less green than I saw elsewhere and probably it was that it was loaded with beautiful vegetables eggplants, cabbage and covered with a good amount of freshly cut red chilli. It came with a side plate of steamed white rice. The rich curry had a beautiful strong taste and perfect spiciness level between runny nose, but not to eye irrigation. I tried many milk teas, but never ginger taste and it was such a nice drink, I thought to order a second cup. Of course, the light cream in the drink is my usual offset to chili in food and keeps everything in balance. A really satisfying meal made with care in an authentic location... One of the highlights of my visit to Malacca.
