Ah Moi Bachang Kopitiam - Malacca

Been eating here since years ago when it’s at the old location (just beside the shoplot). Especially enjoyed the mee rebus, mee rojak and must must must add on crispy prawn fritter! From an old school shop becomes a very systematic and digitalised kopitiam (now even has a cat-like waiter robot) really is something. Will continue support auntie!

First time eating at their new shop. Shop is pretty clean, but the way to order food is a little peculiar mee rebus is pretty nice, broth isn’t as “pekat” as the one at Portuguese Settlement but overall still a nice mee rebus for RM6 (small). O chien is alright also but as usual, Melaka’s o chien always has more flour eggs than the oysters

This place is an unexpected and truly one-of-a-kind restaurant due to the fact they are Hainanese selling Mee Jawa Mee Rojak. Originally, they were at the corner shack about 20 meters away before someone bought one the land, so they moved here in 2022. I have eaten here since the early days before they were well-known, and the food back at the old place tasted much better than now. But it 's still good, on my last visit just before GE15. The ordering system is complicated, so don 't just sit and wait for service. Take the number! Thier Rojak Mee still tastes better than the Mee Jawa. The har pang is awesome. Fried oysters have to see the mood of the person frying. Go early, before lunch, and avoid weekends PH. Seriously, the old place had so much real character, with the aunty shouting at her sons, now all gone.

Chinese mee rebus was good; gravy thick and savory. Oyster omelets ok.

Bachang, Melaka, Malaysia. Famous mee rebus and mee rojak. Used to be located at old house before moved here. Very tasty food. Beware long queue if you are going too late in the mornings.
