Dining in at Romulo Cafe is always satisfying. We had Cheese and Vigan Longganisa Dumplings (P 185) and Kamote Chips for appetizers. Molo Soup (P 100) was deliciously piping hot! It was so yummy that I had second serving of this delectable soup. I love their take on the Penne Carbonara (P 320). The creamy pasta was sprinkled with bits of Vigan Longganisa. As they serve us the mains, I noticed that Romulo Cafe acknowledges its recipe sources in naming familiar Filipino dishes they serve. Tito Greg's Kare Kare  could rival the best renditions of this dish elsewhere. They also have the crispy kare-kare version but I love this regular oxtail version better. Ginataang Hipon sa Kamias (P 330) is another favorite of mine. The juicy tiger prawns in creamy sauce was topped with Kamias and latik that added texture to this dish. It added a twist to the familiar Laing (P 180) by adding Adobo Flakes. Lola Virginia's Chicken Relleno was savory. It had peas, chorizo, raisins and ground pork for stuffing. I'd like to go back and try the other dishes soon. millette.sison.me

Romulo has been creative with their menu. The price was worth your money. They serve delicious Filipino dishes. I am always a fan of crispy pata and they never fail me. Crispy skin with juicy meat. Perfect dish in every table. Romulo can satisfy your cravings for Filipino dishes.

We actually dined in Romulo Cafe’s Bonifacio High Street Branch. The Cool as Cucumber drink was refreshing! The Kare-Kare was also a perfect blend of peanut sauce and ox meat (both tail and tripe
