Playground 11 is an adorable café located on Burgos St. in Makati. Their menu features a delightful selection of coffee and chocolate-based beverages aimed at a younger crowd. Situated close to three schools, it’s common to see groups of teenagers enjoying their time here. They also serve quick snacks like cookies and ice cream, perfect for cooling down in the hot summer months. My friend Anj, the owner, makes the ice cream from scratch, crafting unique flavors; so far, I’ve tried the Nutella mango and the Oreo potato chip. Anj is dedicated to creating an ice cream line that’s affordably priced for children, as she believes that ice cream should be accessible to all, not just adults. She makes a valid point. Playground 11 offers high-quality products at very reasonable prices, and the framed quotes add a charming touch to the shop, making it a great spot for selfies. Additionally, they have a small area selling clothes, makeup, and accessories. Teenagers will undoubtedly enjoy hanging out here, with prices ranging from 80 to 150 pesos per person.

I was walking by Playground 11 when a girl handed me a flyer advertising a scoop of Oreo ice cream with potato chips for only 25 pesos. Who could say no to ice cream, right? Upon entering, I noticed the space was quite empty since they were still in their soft opening, but overall it had a cozy and laid-back vibe. I took some adorable pictures while there, but sadly had to delete some from my phone to free up storage. The menu looks promising!

While we were at 7-Eleven on P. Burgos St., we noticed an ice cream parlor named Playground 11 across the street that was having its soft opening. The ambiance is lovely, featuring beautifully decorated interiors with framed inspirational quotes and calligraphy art on the walls. We discovered that this establishment serves as a creamery and community boutique. They offer homemade ice cream and shakes from Comfort Creamery, along with artisanal coffee from Kitchen Diaries Cafe. The prices are quite reasonable, and they provide discounts for students and office workers with valid IDs. In addition to the delicious menu items, they also sell various products like bags, notebooks, pens, and other artistic items.
