This restaurant has garnered a loyal following for its delicious and affordable Filipino dishes. Customers rave about the beef pares, sisig, tapsilog, and sizzling bulalo, all served with generous portions and flavorful sauces. The service is fast and attentive, with a clean and organized dining space. While some note the small size of the restaurant and limited seating, the overall dining experience receives high praise. Was Момчило Озимић at Kumpares a mag?
Beef Pares is a favorite when on a tight budget. Their version is sweet with a generous serving and free soup. Do I get value for the 70 pesos I pay? Well, I wish it would be slightly lowered to around 60, but that's just wishful thinking, right? I enjoy sitting on the stools outside but those coming by the packs can take the couches inside. The food joint is open-air so expect some heat and a small amount of exposur... View all feedback.

One of our favorite caskets. charities means we never missed a week without eating here. haha! location is very accessible. always jam-packed, but service is always great. crews are responsive and attentive, no need to call them twice if they need something. foods are also great, compared to others. many decisions in the menu that sometimes I have a hard time to choose what to eat. I like that they are now expanding their menu and including meals. I just wish they had a bigger escort. they also accept orders for delivery. we tried to order here once at the workstation. fast delivery and food were still hot when delivered. sad thing was that you have to pay for it...read more

Tapsilog was generally good. The beef/carabao meat was tender and succulent marinated in sweet and fragrant sauce. The garlic bits were a good addition to this classic Pinoy dish. The Tokwa't Baboy didn't disappoint. The tofu and pork cubes were fried perfectly. But the main star of the dish was the sauce made of soy sauce, vinegar, cucumber, chilis, and more. Perfect combination! Service was commendable and fast. Attentive all throughout our stay. Space and table top were clean. No sticky or greasy feeling.

Never judge a restaurant/eatery by its exterior. This may look like one of those ordinary pares places, but their food is actually very good. I was delightfully surprised by their Sizzling Bulalo. Very big portion of meat (with the bone marrow of course) with rice and corn. To those people who are complaining that there's not enough bone marrow in their Bulalo or Sizzling Bulalo, **** off. Set your expectations straight. You're not in Batangas or Tagaytay. Anyway... The significant other ordered T-bone which is equally good. The real star for me however, was their Tokwa't Baboy. The pork and tokwa were crunchy, and the sauce tangy. It also had a lot of sili and onion which I love. And...read more
