This one is the only one authentic Korean Food in Makassar, though the spices is more like Indonesian Spices. A bit pricey, but it's worth it. Overall, Myoung-Ga offers customer a new experience eating with Korean Style. Too bad We couldn't try Grilling our our meat.
I've been craving for jjangmyeon in Makassar since we moved to this city. Tried to order from several restaurants, but I could say Myoung-Ga has the best one compare to others. At the first time, I was not really sure to order in this restaurant since i think they serve all you can eat. From several All You can Eat restaurants that I've tried, their jjangmyeon or other dishes was bad, they modified to Indonesian style, not the one that I really want. The jjang sauce was superb! Worth the price since you will only find chicken in there, without any potato!! Actually I kinda miss that potato taste. But nevermind! I satisfied enough with the sauce. It takes more than 40 minutes to wait until the delivery man leaving the restaurant, but I think it could be very much order queue (which means great, they have much customer to indicate the food will be amazing, and its true) The minus for me is the noodle was too soft, break apart when I mixed the sauce. It might be overcooked while in delivery. I suggest to reduce the noodle cooking time for delivery service or take away.
Went there on Sunday, August 16th. I ordered jjangmyeong, jjampong and spicy baby octopus. I thought I will satisfy my craving for authentic Korean noodle, but I was very disappointed. They used some kind of beehon or rice vermicelli for both jjampong and jjangmyeon. So when I mixed the jjangmyeon sauce, the noodle was breaking apart. I was speechless. The jjangmyeon sauce was okay. On the other hand, jjampong 's seafood broth was very nice but salty as dang!!! It felt like we were drinking sea water. And when I told that to the cashier (when I paid the bill) the cashier just avoided my eyes and did very little nod (but not looking at me at all). Not even say sorry or say i 'll tell that to the chef . He was just avoided me. I 'm not even protesting or asking for another new bowl of jjampong (hell yea we just ate that salty broth). I just gave the input for them to fix it for another guest! What a rude guy!!!!
Proven 3 dishes Jajangmyeon, Bibimbap and cheese bulgogi bap. It is delicious, worth the price (from Rp 50K 200K). Love the courts
