On a Saturday night randomly showed up to see if they had a table free against 8. 30. We were immediately assigned a table. the service was excellent and the steaks we had were excellent and perfectly prepared. the personal understood what our requirements were.

I found the hotel about trip advisor and must say that it reflects the reviews. the hotel is not very large inside, but in the summer there are also tables outside, so it is easier to find a place. good service and eating ... the price-performance ratio for money is right, even if it is generally no cheaper place. I recommend it to those who are willing to pay the right price for a good piece of meat. the only error is the short selection at desserts ... 2 possibilities are a bit 'less ...
We have eaten at two consecutive evenings in this beautiful place very close to the center of mainz to evening. first of all, the sympathy of the waiter is really a surprise, always ready to joke and calm the customers. fleisch is the highlight of this steakhaus, which offers interesting pieces like ribeye and filet. a mixed salad with yoghurt sauce or orange mustard vinaigrette (their choice). we decided for the latter and I must say it was a pleasant discovery. we tried the ribeye and another piece, whose exact name I no longer know (the menu is written only in German). the meat was always on the height, very delicate and with an excellent taste, also thanks to the blue butter it is served with. as a supplement, they can choose between different suggestions based mainly on kartomas. we stayed true to the classic bratkartoffel, crispy and never greasy. the kartoffeln in film also looked excellent. as dessert we tried a good apfelstrudel, accompanied by vanilleeis and saw. as beverages, we have tasted, besides the very good cristine white, an excellent red from the Rhineland and an Argentine wine. it is not the classic Germanic place, but definitely worth a visit!
