This lovely little cafe sits right in the middle of the old part of Mainz, Altstadt. The atmosphere is one of a kind cozy and welcoming, with comfortable seats and blankets on the chairs outside when the weather is cold; but also pristinely clean and fresh, with shining silver and glass, and fresh flowers. If you're anywhere near, I heartily recommend a visit. View all feedback.
What SixteenWZ dislikes about Caffe Stivale:
We went to have coffee during the rain to have a good time, unfortunately the owner was making the place unbreathable, she was unpleasant and apparently she doesn 't know what hospitality means I guess for a coffee it 's the minimum. Also not accepting card in 2025 is a very good joke. Don 't come there, there are better places trust me. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: €1–10 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atm... Perfect place to take a break and let the watch go. very decent cup coffee served, tee was stunning. the bake we had ordered was delicious. their taste buds will be happy. their sense of hospitality and they will feel here with the service and the very decent trips as at home. natives seem to visit the place, which can be nothing bad. the place of the place, inside and outside, looks inviting enough for a first main dish. the served coffee makes lust come back. at least I will.
Beautiful place for a coffee in the center of mainz. great location, although the personal is typical German. coffee was nice, but the outside area on the road gives this place character.
This small caffe in Italian style offers wonderful coffee, tee and sweetness. they have outside seats (smoke allowed) with cover and inside seats for non-smoking. they can also order a coffee to take away. to our coffee we also got a sweetness and a glass of water. the staff was friendly and we didn't have to wait long. there are also timetables to read and buy coffee/epresso machines. it is not the cheapest caffe of the city, but definitiw one of the best!
I went to get a coffee to go. I was ignored for a few minutes and then finally acknowledged me. I should have just left but I got a cappuccino to go with soy milk for 4.90 (look at the size) and asked to use the restroom as a paying customer and she said quote : no public restroom for people taking drinks to go on Saturday. I regret not checking the Google reviews before I went in there Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
